Clint Fussell is a 35-year-old Caucasian male from Chipley, Florida. He was born with a genetic condition known as neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). NF1 in Mr. Fussell’s case is characterized by hyperpigmentation, fibromas and skeletal deformities. Nevertheless, he continues to face every day with optimism irrespective of the developing complexities with regards to his conditions. Throughout his life, Mr. Fussell has maintained an approach to self-sufficiency, working hard, whenever he could, and not letting his illness dictate the course of his destiny. Nevertheless, the past five months have been the most trying. His NF1 has worsened, relegating him to his house. The condition has progressed causing considerable hearing loss, disability, and severe pain. He had no option but to resign from his last job. In addition to this, Mr. Fussell is on several prescription regimens to manage his other illnesses. Adverse events from these medications are worsening the impact of NF1 further reducing his quality of life. Herein, a concise disability report is developed with the aim of convincing the Social Security Administration to grant Mr. Fussell monthly disability benefits.
